Foster Buckman
Actress, Queensland, Australia
Foster Buckman is an Australian actress, born and raised in Brisbane. Foster has extensive screen experience, appearing on projects such as Channel 10's TV drama series Secrets and lies, and feature film RISE directed by Mack Lindon.
Foster is a graduate of the full-time Acting for Screen course at Film and Television Studio International and has also completed an intensive master class at La Boite Theatre Company. She has trained with a number of acting coaches: Craig McMahon, Lyndelle Green, Simone De Haas, Andrea Moor, Helen Howard, Mark Piper, Ian Stenlake, Peter Rasmussen, Joss McWilliam, Paul Bishop, Louise Lee Mei and Martin Sacks.
Her latest projects include playing the lead role in romantic drama Beards for QFA and she was recently featured in Call The Shots music video 'So Worth It'. Showing her versatility, she has taken on physically challenging characters such as the Lead Bounty Hunter in Toes North where she demonstrated skills in archery and screen combat.
Foster excels in martial arts, Muay Thai, kick-boxing and boxing and has ongoing training in screen combat, fencing and archery. She has also been trained in firearms and weapon handling, bringing a sense of realism and physicality to her roles.
Hoping to impact the world and change the lives of others, Foster is looking forward to working on profound films, longing to work alongside Morgan Freeman and Hugh Jackman.
